A fully qualified Accountant with over 25 years experience in financial and management accounting, my career primarily progressed as that of Company Accountant within small/medium sized organisations, achieving the position of Company Secretary.

Gained in a variety of businesses including – motor trade, manufacture/supply, building refurbishment, book printing/office supplies retailing and Directory publishing.

During my career I:
Enabled managers/owners to produce a vision as to where their business could grow and what was needed for this to be achieved. I created budgets and forecasts to provide a guide to the business future and review of its mode of operation for optimum performance.
Gave managers/owners greater control of their business profits and growth using various performance reviews and reports. I developed management reporting systems to operate manually or PC based, as well as converting manual to PC.
Assisted managers/owners in understanding and responding to information provided. I gave training, advice and support in all aspects of finance to non-financial managers.
Provided managers/owners with the tools to control and respond to the needs of their business. I ensured prompt and accurate recording of transactions, finance and other, culminating in regular reporting and monitoring of business activities.
